Claire Haigh is interested in exploring the nature of consciousness and thought through art. For the past 12 years she has been working on The Tabula Project, which will be exhibited in December 2007 at The Troubadour Gallery. In addition to showing paintings, she will be giving an introductory talk and running workshops in conjunction with the exhibition.
Haigh has had four solo exhibitions in Central London, at the Turtle Key Arts Centre in 1992, Smith's Gallery Covent Garden in 1993, The Mall Galleries and in 1993, and in 1996 The Boston Consulting Group put on a major exhibition of her paintings. Her work has been bought by both private and corporate collectors, and in addition to her exhibition work she has completed many portrait commissions of notable figures including Ken Livingston.
